Privacy Policy for Motif Log

Motif Log is a personal log published by ChainJoy (“we”). This policy explains what the iOS and Android apps with the package name com.chainjoy.motif collect, and why. It does not cover any other ChainJoy app.

What we collect

• Account. An email address and a one-time sign-in code, or the identifier Apple or Google returns when you sign in with those accounts. You can look at records already on the phone without an account. Photo logs, voice logs, reports, and purchases require a sign-in.
• What you log. Project names, factor names, notes, and the values confirmed for a record. Text you write is stored as you wrote it.
• Photos and voice. A photo or a voice recording is sent so one record can be filled in. The server uses it for that request and does not keep the file. After you confirm the record, the phone deletes the file. An unconfirmed photo or recording stays on the phone for at most 24 hours, then it is deleted and is not saved as a record. Voice longer than 60 seconds is not sent.
• Purchases. Apple or Google process the payment. We receive the product id and a transaction id so a photo log, a voice log, a credit, or a subscription can be granted once.
• Reminders. If you allow notifications, Apple or Google gives the app a push token. We store that token with your time zone and the language of the app. If you allow the calendar, the app writes reminders only to a calendar named Motif Log.
• Technical data. IP address and basic request data the server needs to answer the app.

How we use it

We use this information to keep your projects, fill a record from a photo or a voice note, calculate which factor explains a result, deliver a purchase, and send a reminder you allowed. Photos and voice are not used to train a model, and they are not kept. We do not sell personal information.

A cloud model reads the photo, the voice, or the text of that one request in order to fill the record or write the report. Health, sleep, and mood projects are handled with the same log. The result is a pattern in your records. It is not a diagnosis or treatment advice.

Analytics and attribution

The app can send product events to Firebase Analytics, the Meta (Facebook) SDK, and JustTrack. Those services may receive an advertising identifier, IP address, device model, language, and how you use the app, under their own policies:

On iOS, the advertising identifier is available only if you allow tracking. The app does not show ads.

Where data is stored

Account and confirmed records are stored for Motif Log at api.echo-ai.chat, in a database used only by this app. They are not mixed with accounts from our other apps. A cache of the same records stays on the phone after you sign in. We keep the account while you use it.

Children

Motif Log is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can turn a project reminder off, refuse the camera, microphone, calendar, or notifications, and export your records from the project. Signing out clears the token and the cache on that phone. It does not delete the account. To delete the account and its records from our servers, use Delete account in the app, or follow Delete your Motif Log account.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top and post the new version on this page.
