Privacy Policy for Ashmere

Ashmere is an adult roleplay chat app published by ChainJoy (“we”). It is for people 18 and older. This policy explains what the iOS and Android apps with the package name com.chainjoy.ashmere.chat collect, and why.

What we collect

• Account. An email address and a one-time sign-in code, or the identifier Apple or Google returns when you sign in with those accounts.
• What you write. Messages, the characters you create, appearance notes, and memories the app keeps so a conversation can continue.
• Voice. If you speak, the app records that audio and sends it so it can be transcribed. Spoken replies are generated audio.
• Pictures and short clips. Prompts you ask the app to turn into images or video, and the files that come back.
• Purchases. Apple or Google process the payment. We receive the product id and a receipt so gems or a plan can be granted once.
• Notifications. If you allow them, Apple or Google gives the app a push token. We store it so a character can send a reminder.
• Technical data. IP address and basic request data the server needs to answer the app.

How we use it

We use this information to run the chat, keep your place in a story, generate images, voice, and short clips, deliver purchases, and send a reminder you allowed. We do not sell personal information.

Analytics

The app can send product events to Firebase Analytics, the Meta (Facebook) SDK, and JustTrack. Those services may receive an advertising identifier, IP address, device model, language, and how you use the app, under their own policies:

Where data is stored

Account and chat data are stored on our servers. Generated pictures, voice, and video may be stored on a content network so the app can show them again. We keep this data while the account is in use.

Adults only

Ashmere is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has used the app, contact us and we will delete that account.

AI-generated content

Chat replies, pictures, spoken audio, and short video in Ashmere are produced by automated systems. They are fiction. They can be wrong, inconsistent, outdated, or offensive. They are not facts, professional advice, or a real person. You are responsible for what you send into a chat.

Translations

Character cards may be translated by machine into other languages after you save them. A translation can change the wording, the tone, or the meaning. It is not a new statement by the author. The text you wrote is kept as the original.

Report a problem

If a reply, picture, voice, video, or translation is harmful or wrong, open You in the app and choose Report AI content. Paste the text or attach the picture. We review those reports.

Delete your data

Uninstalling the app removes the copy on your phone. To delete the account and its content from our servers, follow the steps on Delete your Ashmere account. Apple or Google keep their own purchase records.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top and post the new version on this page.
